Nicole was previously with The WorkPlace for twelve years and served as ProgramManager for three Federal programs. Her experience encompasses all aspects of creating and launching programs: research, model development, program management, grant development, marketing and evaluation. The WorkPlace serves as the Workforce Development Board for Southwestern CT. It is also a company of ideas and actions, resources and initiatives – all designed to strengthen the workforce. “Think it forward” is the corporate culture. Every discipline within the organization is encouraged to innovate and activate as ideas are put into motion for the greater good of the economy- and society as a whole. Nicole previously served as a Lead Counselor at an Adolescent Treatment Facility for dually diagnosed individuals. Mrs. Solomon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management/ Marketing and a M.S. degree in Counseling, with a specialization in Human Resource Management. Nicole is passionate about developing a well-educated, well-trained, and self-sufficient workforce that can confidently compete in today’s changing global marketplace. Currently Mrs.Solomon is focusing on entrepreneurial endeavors. In her spare time Nicole enjoys art, reading, photography, day trips and spending time with her family.
